Where are my memories kept?

Only on your phone. Anı Defteri has no account and no server; what you write, your photos and your voice recordings are not sent over the internet. Privacy policy

What happens if I change phones?

If you set up the new phone from the old one's backup (iCloud or a computer), Anı Defteri's data comes with it. There is no way yet to move it to another phone without a backup.

How do I delete an entry?

Tap "delete" under a card in the Timeline, or "Delete this memory" on a sealed card. The entry is deleted together with its photo and voice recording; this cannot be undone. If you delete a development memory, that question may be asked again later.

Why is there no development question on some days?

On purpose. There is a question every day, but development questions come rarely, never two days in a row, and if you answered "not yet" several times in a row they pause for a while. So it never feels like a test.

My baby was born early

On first launch, tick "born early" and enter the due date. Every question and range is then based on corrected age.

I don't get the reminder

Make sure a time is selected in Settings. Then allow notifications in your phone's Settings › Notifications › Anı Defteri. If you have already written that day, no reminder comes.

It doesn't turn my voice into text

This is done only on the phone itself, and not every phone or language supports it. If it is not supported, your recording is still kept; it is never sent anywhere to be transcribed.

I see "Your entries could not be opened"

Nothing has been deleted. Tap "Try again" first; it usually passes. If it does not, write to us. If you choose "Start a new journal", your old entries are not deleted; they stay stored separately on your phone.

Not medical advice

The development ranges are general information, not a diagnosis or treatment. Every baby develops at their own pace. The "To ask the doctor" list is only a reminder. Ask your doctor about your baby's health.
